I am so angry,,,,,,aaaagggghhhhhh.

As you all know I make wedding invitations. Way back when I started making them I began to keep a book with samples in it.
Every wee while I take out some designs and retire them and come up with some new ideas. A few months ago, I decided to completely redo my album. I used a 12 x 12 album and spent days making it look as good as I could. Even if I say it myself it is stunning.
A girl at work had asked for my samples for her friend so I gave it to her.......about 6 weeks ago.
Today, the girl at work says her friend has decided to make her own invitations. "You mean she is going to copy my designs" I said. the girl at work just kept saying that she was going to make them herself.
I told her that she was not a nice friend to have to put her in this position and I wanted my book back. She said her friend will get it to her to bring to me.
Now I'm worried that I've saw the last of my designs....and if I get them back, what state is my lovely album going to be in.
Thing is......another woman at work had said that her daughter couldn't afford to have invitations made and she wanted to make them herself. I was waiting to get my book back so I could give her some ideas. I even said that I would tell her the best places to buy everything she needed.
If only the first girl had been so honest. I have more work than I can keep up with and as everybody knows, we crafters love to show off our knowledge and love helping people.
Wullie wanted to go straight back into work to get the address of the person who has my book so we could go straight there and pick it up. Wish I'd listened to him now :(
I can't believe how upset I am over this.....but it's so personal to me...I try to come up with my own designs and take great pride it them.
Hopefully she'll bring it to work tomorrow.

My Neice's wedding

Well all of my hard work was well appreciated. I was thanked in the speeches and presented with a beautiful hand tied bouquet.

Don't want to bore anybody with hundreds of photos so that will do. There is only one of me about as far as I know (camera shy) and I'm hiding behind Amanda. Nobody took a photo of poor Wullie. We are in one of the official ones though so I might put that on when I get it.

Haven't been here for ages....been so caught up in my niece's wedding which is TODAY!!!

I've finally delivered the rest of my wedding present....Menus,

Order of Service....

Place cards....I've already shown them.

Table Seating Plan......I made it with A2 Ivory mounting board, then A3 dark red mounting board, and printed out the details onto the same card as the wedding stationery. Finished with ribbon round the edges, cuttlebug butterflies and more than a few gems....my niece loves her bling.

Favours.....

Made four baskets altogether, two of the bonbonierre, one with the butterfly boxes and one with the handbags. Was quite surprised how nice the bought boxes were when they were made up.

and Flowers for the tables.

The big one is for the top table, there are 2 smaller ones for each side but the photo is awful.

The tall ones are for the guest tables, I've bought mirrors to stand them on and rose petals to dot round the mirrors.

The photos aren't great but I was up till 4 and then back up at 8. Feels a bit strange having everything done.

All I have to do now is go and get myself all glammed up for the wedding.

If there's a decent photo of me, I might even post it later.

Once again sorry to everyone for not visiting your blogs...I'm on holiday for another week....not booked anything but that's another story....so I'll try and catch up with everybody

Poor wee neglected Blog.

I haven't been on for a while....been too busy. I should really have made time though.
I'm in the middle of wedding invitations for a client and have my niece's wedding in less than three weeks now and haven't even started the favours. OMG. Menu's, Order of Service, Table Plan, Table flowers....oh scaring myself now.
I've got the week before the wedding off work so I should be fine....I always work best under pressure LOL.
I sat up last night and made a baby card,and put the wrong date of birth on it....agh....luckily the client ( a lady at Wullie's work) noticed it before it was sent to America ...so I've changed it tonight.... haven't even took a photo of it yet...maybe in the morning before I go to work.
I've been playing with Microsoft XL tonight had some graphs to make up for work....I spent ages at work trying to remember how to do them, but couldn't get it.....five minutes at home and it's as though I'd always been doing them.
Better go to bed now...I'll post some pics tomorrow.
