Recipe

I've just finished doing invitations for the daughter of someone at work and, as her dad is a baker, she was interested in the recipe for marriage poem that she saw on the web. I've got the dreaded man flu and feeling really sorry for myself so came up with my own to cheer myself up.

When there's a baker in the family, the appropriate thing to do
Is to create a special recipe especially for you
So....
Find the perfect parents to provide the bride and groom
Sprinkle a mixture of family and friends carefully round the room
Add in the sense of fairytale and happiness and love
And just a pinch of serenity coming from above
Blend it all together in a caring, loving way
And you will have the recipe for a perfect wedding day

Keep the memories safely stored and add to them each day
The happy and the sad times that happen along lifes way
If followed very carefully, the end result should be
A happy life for everyone within this family.
